Taylor's Birthday

Well, Taylor did it...she finally had her 3rd birthday. She has been waiting for her birthday since Kade's birthday and was so excited. She got this computer for her birthday and some outfits...and p.j.s from Grandma that she LOVES--she could wear p.j. all day if we let her (Thanks Jessica :) ) She got to open these gifts on Sunday because Brian is worse than a kid and apparently couldn't wait 3 more days until her real birthday to open her gifts...she didn't mind of course!

This is Taylor and her BFF Katelyn. They have sort of a love-hate relationship, but are very good friends....this is the beginning of her birthday and the rest of the pics go through to the end of her birthday. She began the day with her swimming lessons that she takes every Monday and Wednesday at Fitness Ince from June-August. She loves them!

Jumping in......the kids get to dive ( or jump in in taylor's groups case) for the last 5 minutes of each lesson. It is their favorite part. Taylor jumps in so hard and fast--it's pretty funny to watch her.

After swimming lessons, Taylor got to go and get a manicure and have her nails painted--she chose the color green for her nail polish--who does that?? But she loved it and it was very cute!

She then got her hair cut and got to sit in a little care while they cut her hair. She felt pretty special, but didn't have the patience to wait while they blow-dryed it and curled it...she was just going crazy trying to pedal the darn car!

We then went to lunch at New York Burrito--Tay had a chicken and cheese quesadilla--she loved it!!! She ate the whole thing so she must have loved it! We came home and then made cupcake cones to take to Frank and Anns and share with the kids. We wanted to do something for them becaue taylor loves it so much there...she kept asking if she could just go to Anns--heck, I was just trying to plan a fun mommy-daughter day.........this is her with Jessica H and Emma. They all get along so great at daycare. It is the best place in the world!!! Ann gave Taylor a bouncing ball--one that she can hop on for her birthday...she loves it too!

Had to throw a few of Kaden in here too. Here he is eating a cupcake cone...he really liked it--much better than the nasty cake he had to have for his birthday!

Okay--thanks Jess--you really did it!! Like I said, she loves her "gymmies" and wants to wear them instead of regular clothes most days........so, we may actually have your dream birthday present with for tay come true with the hat, socks and gymmies, we may really be embarrased to take her out in public...did I mention she loves to change her socks too!! oh no!!!!! Kind of cute, though, right?!?!?

She didn't quite know how to blow out the candles, so we helped her!!

Can't get by without putting these pics of Kate on her.........she is the coolest kid I know because she loves weird things, especially when they have to do with Monkeys...I found this pen at Staples and had to get it for her......with a notepad so she can keep all of her stories in here...she is quite the author!!!! It was suppose to be for her birthday, but she found it, so she got it early!!

Jayce, Syd, Emily, and Tay....the older kids were trying to make a bed for Taylor...they kept calling it her spongebob pillow......she wouldn't lay on it until after they all left, then she drug me out there to take a picture of her laying on her pillow!! (She is now sleeping......she fell asleep watching----you guessed it--spongebob!!) :(

All in all it was a very fun day and I think she felt very special. At first she would say she was "three and two" but now she has it down that she is just "three" when asked how old she is. She kept saying "happy birthday to me" She is a super fun girl...but very sassy, too...we love her!!!!!!
