We decided to go for a different feel this year. Every Christmas Eve we do the Woods' family dinner and gift exchange. Since we were all sick of Thanksgiving type dinners, we decided to have Lasagna, Salad and garlic bread. It was very yummy!!! Then we did our gift exchange. I think everyone was very pleased with what they got!!! Again, Taylor was more excited about Shannon, Sierra, and her cousins being at our house than anything else. All December instead of counting down the days until Christmas, she was counting down the days until Shannon got here. Unfortunately, she did not get to see very much of her, so now she is counting down until New Years when she is hoping to see her again!!!... Hint, Hint....
The kids were also very excited that Forrest came with Shannon. They like to show off for him!!! Kaden was especially funny because he was sleeping when they got here on Thursday night and the boys (Brian, Rase, and Forrest) woke up early to go ice fishing with Grandpa, when they got back, Kaden looked up at him and said, "Forrest" and just ran off laughing. I was surprised he remembered him as he didn't know he was here and hadn't seen him for awhile!
